Hope you all are well. Today, I'm sharing my first Christmas card for this year. I took a step and get into the Christmas spirit before Halloween and Thanksgiving! I simply couldn't resist! 😅 I played along this week's <b><a href="https://mftstamps.com/blogs/news/wsc506" target="_blank">MFT Sketch Challenge #506</a></b> and here is my take... </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
<div><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: 13px;">I colored the cute little yeti and gift boxes from the BB Beast Friends stamps set using distress ink. I then used the coordinating die set to cut them out. According to the sketch, I cut out a layer of card with scalloped border using the Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX Die-namics set from MFT. </span></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPxgXD7CT0FNPIfFMFXDGLUg01fdVIQKHy1kFHI-31oT88nk9LE5tZKMBohcAviMTQ1aOI2q7Dh6i4D5y8rELa7KF9nCIa50HXv6qZSxvxmMHAl9HTGW0zZvmgP3SJKNAseyHpGUa4IKlY/s1440/Christmas_1.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1440" data-original-width="1440" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPxgXD7CT0FNPIfFMFXDGLUg01fdVIQKHy1kFHI-31oT88nk9LE5tZKMBohcAviMTQ1aOI2q7Dh6i4D5y8rELa7KF9nCIa50HXv6qZSxvxmMHAl9HTGW0zZvmgP3SJKNAseyHpGUa4IKlY/w400-h400/Christmas_1.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yxDUjeJyVk0/X1q7QivKuLI/AAAAAAAAL0Q/VO1Vgos9pAI6sP3ge_587rFCtlgkyB7LwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1440/Christmas_2.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1440" data-original-width="1440" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yxDUjeJyVk0/X1q7QivKuLI/AAAAAAAAL0Q/VO1Vgos9pAI6sP3ge_587rFCtlgkyB7LwCLcBGAsYHQ/w400-h400/Christmas_2.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>
<div><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: 13px;">On the layer card, I used Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough and Salty Ocean distress inks to create a winter-snowy-scene. First, I cut out a small circular piece of masking paper and place it on top left corner of the layer card to create a 'moon' image. Then, I started blending the distress inks and filled the background. To have a snowfall effect, I splattered the card with water and let it dry. I love this sentiment from this set and thought it would be perfect for first Christmas card. I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Finally, I adhered all together on the base card.
<span style="font-family: arial; font-size: 13px;"><br /><br />

Hope you all are doing good. After taking a long break, I'm back and making cards again! Sometimes, we have to take a break from work and for me it happened right after my second son was born. I was making card occasionally, but it was quite challenging for me to manage him and maintain the social presence. I get lost in the daily grind! So I decided to put crafting on hold. The updates are on my Instagram <a href="https://www.instagram.com/niftycrafty/?hl=en" target="_blank"><b>page</b></a>.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
<div><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: 13px;">Here is my card for this week. It's a very simple and quick one to make! I play along in the<a href="https://mftstamps.com/blogs/news/cc147" target="_blank"><b> MFT Color Challenge #147</b></a>. The fall colors immediately got my heart!</span></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTeSLf8wjZCG7Sq8qy1DHTA42WDSrEbLJDDx8eFGNN9tnjCgwdYAMRL_JAfpJS7uUMUS4Wj5aW5sZ-EuCkTIgL7_LnjjSDqE10fHXDdQhQBBXV1HHOPz7g7DLe8s_YYUVcNkLpLH_8pW1U/s1440/4B3FB89A-BA68-4276-A63D-1F2BE7AC970B.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1440" data-original-width="1440" height="410" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTeSLf8wjZCG7Sq8qy1DHTA42WDSrEbLJDDx8eFGNN9tnjCgwdYAMRL_JAfpJS7uUMUS4Wj5aW5sZ-EuCkTIgL7_LnjjSDqE10fHXDdQhQBBXV1HHOPz7g7DLe8s_YYUVcNkLpLH_8pW1U/w410-h410/4B3FB89A-BA68-4276-A63D-1F2BE7AC970B.JPG" width="410" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO5cwMFJXOUScegzGrfeucf2CbZRVR_u1LoOeTUGfzl60Jqew2W9oSDuVUnfkfaSzl8ipuQOTi8YS9cFJHAptJVtAiTTigdjQMFkLX9t-QYLMe8fFiNr3NfEA0DMKR2v3ZhAlRYaMGDoc2/s1440/CF3B6097-3149-4AC0-8767-6781ADABA182.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1440" data-original-width="1440" height="410" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO5cwMFJXOUScegzGrfeucf2CbZRVR_u1LoOeTUGfzl60Jqew2W9oSDuVUnfkfaSzl8ipuQOTi8YS9cFJHAptJVtAiTTigdjQMFkLX9t-QYLMe8fFiNr3NfEA0DMKR2v3ZhAlRYaMGDoc2/w410-h410/CF3B6097-3149-4AC0-8767-6781ADABA182.JPG" width="410" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div></div>
<div><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: 13px;">The kitten is from MFT Furever Friends stamps set. This set include some nice friendship sentiments and I used one of them. I colored the cute kitten using distress ink and cut it out using coordinating die cut. I used the Small Brick Wall stencil from MFT for the backdrop. Initially, I planned to make a one layer card, but later on, I decided to mount the kitten image on to the bricked wall just to add dimension.
<span style="font-family: arial; font-size: 13px;"><br /><br />
</span></span></div><div><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: 13px;">Hope you like my card! See you all with more cards! </span><br />

I'm thrilled and honored to be guest designing at <b><a href="http://addictedtocas.blogspot.com/2018/04/addicted-to-cas-challenge-134-bubbles.html">Addicted to CAS</a></b> this week. I'm so happy to be chosen as the winner of Bird Challenge and was offered to do a guest spot. Thank you so much <b><a href="https://barbsstudiocreations.blogspot.com/">Barb</a></b>, for this great opportunity! This week's code word is BUBBLES!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYS7CWp5zlA2J9uRfKLU9p-3K-8djtfL_eaPfCCouiTwFoleIzw-7hE4JJyS2NYvMr0_HctdwDky8OHXLyl019lqXLq5S3c4-OPAloUTaytZ6kAQCyp9mKo5ESmIWEHFOT625eIidkkYYV/s1600/ATCAS+-+code+word+BUBBLES.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="300" data-original-width="300" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYS7CWp5zlA2J9uRfKLU9p-3K-8djtfL_eaPfCCouiTwFoleIzw-7hE4JJyS2NYvMr0_HctdwDky8OHXLyl019lqXLq5S3c4-OPAloUTaytZ6kAQCyp9mKo5ESmIWEHFOT625eIidkkYYV/s200/ATCAS+-+code+word+BUBBLES.jpg" width="200" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
<div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I love to make birthday cards and this peeking bunny birthday card is really a quick one to make! First, I stamped and colored the bunny from Gerda Steiner - Hoppiness set with distress ink. I cut out the image with the coordinating die. There are more peeking bunnies stamps in this set but this little nerdy one caught my attention. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqNGi4HBrpFXX-eA5rI7_mgjCwdcGuoDOjwzUuA9XjtPeANlZk3rdEqQaJFITJhOQFj2C2gMCCUCULbZLRqmTlyzcmB7xlyYlnJbLeD8NLoU6btKtyzYJ1DKfktrB_dYrzsiWXHYK7eANH/s1600/IMG_8898.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="635" data-original-width="640" height="396" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqNGi4HBrpFXX-eA5rI7_mgjCwdcGuoDOjwzUuA9XjtPeANlZk3rdEqQaJFITJhOQFj2C2gMCCUCULbZLRqmTlyzcmB7xlyYlnJbLeD8NLoU6btKtyzYJ1DKfktrB_dYrzsiWXHYK7eANH/s400/IMG_8898.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Then, I stamped the wood fence image on the bottom of a white base card and did a simple Copic coloring. Next, I used Penny Black Bubble dies to cut out two speech bubbles. I picked my favorite color combo for the bubbles. The sentiment is from the Papertrey Ink Fillable Frame Set #6. I stamped them on the speech bubbles and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Once done, I adhered everything together on the base card. That's all! :)</span></div><br />
<div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I hope you enjoyed this card! Hop over to <b><a href="http://addictedtocas.blogspot.com/2018/04/addicted-to-cas-challenge-134-bubbles.html">Addicted to CAS</a></b> for great inspiration by the DT and do play along with this fun challenge! <span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Hi There! I’m so excited and happy to be guest designing at <b><a href="http://casology.blogspot.com/2018/04/week-295-believe.html">CASology</a><span id="goog_2015497469"></span><a href="https://www.blogger.com/"></a><span id="goog_2015497470"></span></b> this week. I had won the <b><a href="http://casology.blogspot.com/2018/03/week-290-weekly-winners.html" target="_blank">Abstract Challenge</a> </b>and was kindly invited to guest design. It feels so great to be a part of the challenge that I look forward every week. Thank you so much for having me over! :) </span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: 13px; text-align: center;">The cue word for this week challenge is BELIEVE</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPKhVZoa3GhfZO4NQD90GMXCqbr27LNi-PeiKv-3kjxjUaoBFs7X7Jgl-qzF0oX79CsOD1kMXjlEfIaihWg3stXbsmYp2cz4n54OIUSRfNoPHjwRR1gmDB1Iq7oWa0Vr22zQmWOQ9WAWt0/s1600/Week+295+-+Believe.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="500" data-original-width="500" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPKhVZoa3GhfZO4NQD90GMXCqbr27LNi-PeiKv-3kjxjUaoBFs7X7Jgl-qzF0oX79CsOD1kMXjlEfIaihWg3stXbsmYp2cz4n54OIUSRfNoPHjwRR1gmDB1Iq7oWa0Vr22zQmWOQ9WAWt0/s200/Week+295+-+Believe.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I love to create sentiments using alphabet dies and today, I am sharing a cute CAS card with just the sentiment 'believe' using MFT Die-namics Little Letters dies.<br />
</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhntYaL2xTpsbX3VCOTnqOSGgBfw7nI7tYaIUah3HH7nxUM1LoVB9hekdFQxxbMQq4kskT8gYljB3DXWw2ltA13GJPVW40VamTU26W01WyitsUSf4muGDtJsGkp2AMJzSUDr-NEXMULQWiv/s1600/IMG_8897.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="631" data-original-width="639" height="393" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhntYaL2xTpsbX3VCOTnqOSGgBfw7nI7tYaIUah3HH7nxUM1LoVB9hekdFQxxbMQq4kskT8gYljB3DXWw2ltA13GJPVW40VamTU26W01WyitsUSf4muGDtJsGkp2AMJzSUDr-NEXMULQWiv/s400/IMG_8897.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;"><i>Using a sentiment as the focal point makes a great CAS design! </i></span></div>
</div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I usually layer the letters to have a little dimension on the card. So, to create the first layer, I adhered a red chevron washi tape on a white card and die cut the letters. Then, to add a shadow effect, I die cut the letters from a black card and adhered to the patterned letters.</span></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Next, I stamped and colored the bear from MFT Bitty Bears set using distress ink. I replaced the letter 'I' with this cute little bear. Then, I mounted the letters and image on a white panel card which I made earlier using MFT Wonky Stitched Frame die. Finally, I adhered the finished panel on a black base card. That's all! :)</span></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I hope this card inspired you! Today, I'm sharing a quick card which I made for the current <b><a href="http://www.cardchallenges.com/2018/03/mft-color-challenge-90.html" target="_blank">MFT Color Challenge #90</a></b>. I love the combination of the soft colors and here is how I used those colors on my card. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8Qm_vs-HD9U/Wr2UrB5LaAI/AAAAAAAALag/u3bhuLqk4y0nzXk46TAokSdtygqpBQVswCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_8711.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="631" data-original-width="640" height="393" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8Qm_vs-HD9U/Wr2UrB5LaAI/AAAAAAAALag/u3bhuLqk4y0nzXk46TAokSdtygqpBQVswCLcBGAs/s400/IMG_8711.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">First, I inked up a white card stock with the Abandon Coral distress ink. Then, I used the happy sentiment die from MFT Cause For Celebration to die cut the word. Then, I layered it on top of another piece of happy word with Hickory Smoke distress ink. That gives a little dimension and gray shadow to the word. Next, I moved on to stamping the little birds from MFT Happy Hippos stamp set. I directly stamped the images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic Markers. <br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Then, I pulled out the Be Happy sentiment from the same stamp set and stamped it on top the word Happy. For the background, I simply inked it with Salty Ocean distress ink. I finished off the card by adding some sequins and some details on the word and birds using white gel pen. That's all! Hope you like this simple CAS card.<br />
</span></div><br />

<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Hi There! I've been little busy setting up new routine with my little one and also took some time (days :P) to clean up my workspace. I'm glad to be back again with this floral card which I made for the <b><a href="http://altenewblog.com/2018/03/02/altenew-march-2018-inspiration-challenge/" target="_blank">Altenew - March 2018 Inspiration Challenge</a></b>. This is my first time taking part in Altenew challenge. I've fell in love with the color choice by <b><a href="http://virginialusblog.blogspot.ca/" target="_blank">Virginia</a></b> with the beautiful click from her recent trip. Here is my take!</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YnuH7cKQyDk/Wrnsp_eUNHI/AAAAAAAALaI/0Tgsuf5Tph0zNv14BcJMeGYkZvK1_E4GwCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_8658.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="633" data-original-width="632" height="400" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YnuH7cKQyDk/Wrnsp_eUNHI/AAAAAAAALaI/0Tgsuf5Tph0zNv14BcJMeGYkZvK1_E4GwCLcBGAs/s400/IMG_8658.jpg" width="398" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I used Altenew - Floral Motif stamps set for this card along with some distress inks. I used masking technique to create the layers of flower and leaves. I stamped and heat embossed the images with gold embossing powder and colored them with distress inks. Next, I used the MFT Wonky Stitched Frame die to cut out the panel and adhered it on a kraft base card. <br />
</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0f95-GDEpCM/Wrns4cayYtI/AAAAAAAALaM/JsXjoxEsU88JONBbESYiG48j-a7p8f2wwCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_8659.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="638" data-original-width="633" height="400" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0f95-GDEpCM/Wrns4cayYtI/AAAAAAAALaM/JsXjoxEsU88JONBbESYiG48j-a7p8f2wwCLcBGAs/s400/IMG_8659.jpg" width="396" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I stamped the sentiment on a black card stripe and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder and layered it on a kraft card stripe. I finished off the card by adhering the sentiment using foam adhesive. Coloring flowers has been always a great challenge for me. I'm so happy to achieve something out of my comfort zone and I love how this card has turned out. Hope you like it! :) <br />
</span></div>
<br />

<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I’m also entering this card into the following challenges...</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Hi There! I had a little time to craft last night and I made this CAS birthday card inspired by the current <b><a href="http://yournextstamp.com/blog/sketch-and-color-challenge-84/" target="_blank">Your Next Stamp - Sketch and Color Challenge #84</a></b>. I absolutely LOVE the color palette and used three colors for this card. I also played along with the sketch over at <b><a href="http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2018/03/freshly-made-sketches-328-sketch-by.html" target="_blank">Freshly Made Sketches #328</a></b> challenge which is perfect for a CAS design.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpGhl9Kf9y_EZzxBehroBKViz4KESY21t5JO9_vt4HIGe__5Ea0WRftOA9wYT1tB04zjO9iBowWN0BTgb_fUZfk7dJKys3gkXGtw8oGkG2xA5awg4s_pL0Qo22Y8RKw5RmXO1lW9w1CzDX/s1600/IMG_8326.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="629" data-original-width="633" height="396" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpGhl9Kf9y_EZzxBehroBKViz4KESY21t5JO9_vt4HIGe__5Ea0WRftOA9wYT1tB04zjO9iBowWN0BTgb_fUZfk7dJKys3gkXGtw8oGkG2xA5awg4s_pL0Qo22Y8RKw5RmXO1lW9w1CzDX/s400/IMG_8326.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I used the nerdy bookworm from YNS - Get Your Fiction On stamp set as the focal point of the card. I stamped and colored the image with Copic Markers. I added some details with white gel pen and glossy accent on his glasses. I used Simon Says Stamp Lemon Zest to ink up the background. Next, I stamped the birthday sentiment from the same stamps set and white heat embossed it. To finish off the card, I added some sequins. A quick card for today! I hope you like it.<br />

<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Hi There! I'm here to share a CAS card which I made for this week's <b><a href="http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/2018/03/color-throwdown-483.html" target="_blank">Color Throwdown #483</a><a href="http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/2018/03/color-throwdown-483.html"></a></b> challenge. I just love this color combination of Coral, Green and Kraft. I'm also playing along this week's <b><a href="http://casethissketch.blogspot.com/2018/03/case-this-sketch-262.html" target="_blank">CASE this Sketch #262</a></b> challenge. Here is my take!</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pUONUifrEFY/WqGq_BsjrFI/AAAAAAAALXI/90A_CSZ4vCYQ0uQA-F0v3_z3vsC68AAQgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_8131.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="626" data-original-width="640" height="391" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pUONUifrEFY/WqGq_BsjrFI/AAAAAAAALXI/90A_CSZ4vCYQ0uQA-F0v3_z3vsC68AAQgCLcBGAs/s400/IMG_8131.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">First, I blended the Abandoned Coral, Mowed Lawn and Vintage Photo distress inks on a white card stock and cut out the feathers using Simon Says Stamp Feather Craft Dies. To give a little dimension, I layered the feathers and spritzed some water on it. Then, I stamped on the sentiment from Inkadinkado - Thank You Words stamps set and finished off the card by adding a strip of black and white washi tape adjacent to the sentiment. That's all for today. <br />
</span></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">It's always fun to play along with sketch and color challenges! Great way to bring back the creative mojo! :P I hope you like my card today. <br />

I’m playing along with the <b><a href="http://www.cardchallenges.com/2018/02/mft-color-challenge-88.html" target="_blank">MFT Color Challenge #88</a></b> and <b><a href="http://www.cardchallenges.com/2018/02/wednesday-sketch-challenge-sketch-374.html" target="_blank">MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #374</a></b> today. I kept away all my dies and made this simple one layer birthday card featuring adorable bears from MFT BB Bitty Bears. This particular set is one of my most favorite and I really enjoyed playing with them. I did a simple masking technique for my card! So, here is my take!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPHfmLsLnbKj5lkwDfWZQaTeCvKqvTqRoxC2G6AFox8pgXwA4LbqTwzwMdN8Vgcbvu8tzb7_HmHF2hcRrJ9LPcnXc0n8MeWRORtquyueW7QR_XgrKpSnoXnsPVC1hEHSKUeiEUH-lqD7B4/s1600/IMG_8027.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="630" data-original-width="639" height="393" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPHfmLsLnbKj5lkwDfWZQaTeCvKqvTqRoxC2G6AFox8pgXwA4LbqTwzwMdN8Vgcbvu8tzb7_HmHF2hcRrJ9LPcnXc0n8MeWRORtquyueW7QR_XgrKpSnoXnsPVC1hEHSKUeiEUH-lqD7B4/s400/IMG_8027.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">First, I drew a frame on the base card and lined the bear stamps. I picked all the birthday themed bears to add extra fun to the card. Using my MISTI tool, I stamped and colored the bears with Copic Markers. Next, I inked up the background with Salty Ocean distress ink. I combined two sentiments from the Bitty Bears set and stamped directly on the base card. That’s all for today! <br />

I'm stopping by to share a cute action card inspired by the sketch from this month's <b><a href="http://papersmooches.blogspot.com/2018/03/march-2018-challenge-sketch.html" target="_blank">Paper Smooches Monthly Challenge - Sketch</a></b>! I'm glad they are back with another fun challenge based on fan's voting! It's been a while since I played with pattern papers. As soon as I saw this sketch I decided to make a card with layers of pattern papers. Here is my take! </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj98qLgYspoMybAuGjd9OOSJZGnP4vC_wwxj4hvoLvYuMwGokcUIy00pbZjUhZUyFKr7Hm6-FgmW5zl-wiM7qmkzhtaWvrTb1KVqk2cXrwnvrqYIwKn_DR8i_zvSw_Yi6UBGcih9eBzwJ5v/s1600/SPARKS+BADGE.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="211" data-original-width="216" height="193" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj98qLgYspoMybAuGjd9OOSJZGnP4vC_wwxj4hvoLvYuMwGokcUIy00pbZjUhZUyFKr7Hm6-FgmW5zl-wiM7qmkzhtaWvrTb1KVqk2cXrwnvrqYIwKn_DR8i_zvSw_Yi6UBGcih9eBzwJ5v/s200/SPARKS+BADGE.jpg" width="205" /></a></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgd0PajQu9e7c8Wi2oecn071k4nnkD4RX-QoJA70FKOWsl4qtTfZj0tlRElTSADdgDBFjnkqHhgFguJlngBV3-RapdWsq8j1B_idLtw43JstidgQHYcAMY0CEZpKz9RihVTUtLjA764TIl5/s1600/June2014DD+%25281%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="481" data-original-width="580" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgd0PajQu9e7c8Wi2oecn071k4nnkD4RX-QoJA70FKOWsl4qtTfZj0tlRElTSADdgDBFjnkqHhgFguJlngBV3-RapdWsq8j1B_idLtw43JstidgQHYcAMY0CEZpKz9RihVTUtLjA764TIl5/s320/June2014DD+%25281%2529.jpg" width="300" /></a><br />

<div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">First, I stamped and colored the cute fat cat from Paper Smooches - Chubby Chums and set him aside with a mini action wobbler on his back. For the background, I used a light brown shade paper with large polka dots from DCWV - The Basic Stacks paper Pad. To that, I attached one fourth inch of black and white diagonal stripe paper from My Mind's Eye - Charmed paper pad. <br />
</span></div><div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Next, I cut out a flag banner from American Crafts double sided paper pad using flag die from Newton's Nook - Frames & Flag die set. I cut another flag banner out of Kraft card and stamped the background with tiny paws from the same stamp set using ColorBox Dark Brown ink. Finished off the card by stamping the sentiment using StazOn black ink. Visit my Instagram <a href="https://www.instagram.com/niftycrafty/" target="_blank"><b>@niftycrafty</b></a> to view the action part of this card! That's all for today. Hope you like it!</span><br />

Today, I’m sharing a cute holiday scene card using the 'off-the-edge die cutting' technique. I came across this cool technique on <b><a href="https://www.jennifermcguireink.com/" target="_blank">Jennifer McGuire's</a></b> YouTube channel recently and thought of give it a go. I was totally inspired by her technique! It was so easy to make this card with the help of her step by step, crisp and clear <b><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQJ5y5wWbN8" target="_blank">instruction</a></b>.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjL2XKejBuM8VvnmLgpnL8hYs7ojJu6skwqwKqh7kvPyDtTt2yGstrJZUrVz6JKJNV_SaHXzF6zshykQNvvWWM6jTiPmv1yIa6m7RCVdXJIBWYEpGdpxmf_dGIyjhe5_0sbzQKluQWQwlXM/s1600/IMG_7897.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="635" data-original-width="636" height="398" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjL2XKejBuM8VvnmLgpnL8hYs7ojJu6skwqwKqh7kvPyDtTt2yGstrJZUrVz6JKJNV_SaHXzF6zshykQNvvWWM6jTiPmv1yIa6m7RCVdXJIBWYEpGdpxmf_dGIyjhe5_0sbzQKluQWQwlXM/s400/IMG_7897.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">For this card, I used the little car stamp from Lawn Fawn - Home for the Holidays set and ‘happy’ sentiment die from Happy Lawn Cuts die set. First, I drew a pencil line on a Neenah Solar white cardstock and arranged the dies of the stamp and sentiment. I positioned the car wheels and edge of happy sentiment die right below the pencil line. Then, I placed my cutting plate lined up with the pencil line and run it through my Cuttle Bug machine. Next, I used my MISTI tool to stamp the coordinating car image and colored it with Copic marker. For the happy sentiment, I die cut the sentiment and inked the top with Candid Apple distress ink and Hickory Smoke. I adhered it on the partially die cut sentiment.<br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-51irp5X-Uq5VClA1oRLCAUdiAR_dGCfgE4_t7tk98GGKk9esLGPRu3YOv6iKAS53-WR2HW9e-_pNmJe92CXg971CW6uOrDK9zyQufXtFCSK3hnjmiJAYKXKBMhqWJ5exPBnnbTcNDico/s1600/IMG_7895.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="636" data-original-width="640" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-51irp5X-Uq5VClA1oRLCAUdiAR_dGCfgE4_t7tk98GGKk9esLGPRu3YOv6iKAS53-WR2HW9e-_pNmJe92CXg971CW6uOrDK9zyQufXtFCSK3hnjmiJAYKXKBMhqWJ5exPBnnbTcNDico/s400/IMG_7895.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix4-idT_BVHGchxCyc8L0DwYf0vjRfDPxTcG53G1Po0XTOP1U_OKPo8ow1XXMtKQqD5nCqiFs6KwKhVdOHh-4HMu4gCOvcll3iBM9rmT3fEOUTiowLIPmjkdb2h1ca3DCkGx_1VQmB1JZY/s1600/IMG_7896.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="633" data-original-width="636" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix4-idT_BVHGchxCyc8L0DwYf0vjRfDPxTcG53G1Po0XTOP1U_OKPo8ow1XXMtKQqD5nCqiFs6KwKhVdOHh-4HMu4gCOvcll3iBM9rmT3fEOUTiowLIPmjkdb2h1ca3DCkGx_1VQmB1JZY/s400/IMG_7896.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;"> Next, I moved on to create the road. I masked off the car image and inked up the bottom part of it with Hickory Smoke and Black Soot distress ink. Then, I die cut the grass border using Lawn Fawn - Grassy Border die and inked it up with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn distress ink. I pulled the holiday sentiment from Lawn Fawn - Winter Penguin set and stamped it below the happy sentiment. To give a little dimension to the overall card, I adhered the partially die cut card along with the grass border card on to the base card using foam tape. I finished off the card by adding some stitched line on the road using white gel pen. I absolutely enjoyed making this card with this great technique.<br />

I'm back again with my fourth and final guest post for this month. I had a wonderful time being a guest designer for <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookblog.com/" target="_blank">Newton’s Nook</a></b>! Huge thanks to <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookblog.com/" target="_blank">Jennifer</a></b>, <b><a href="http://samsscrapcandy.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Samantha</a></b> and the team of Newton’s Nook Design for giving me this great opportunity. My sincere thanks and love to all your nice comments on my cards. It’s been a great month for me! <br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sevu3Nqoem8/WpE8-k-WiNI/AAAAAAAALU0/_QIvN_wFwPQmGoF6uof1BYV_eofHvrq5ACEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_7800.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="629" data-original-width="640" height="392" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sevu3Nqoem8/WpE8-k-WiNI/AAAAAAAALU0/_QIvN_wFwPQmGoF6uof1BYV_eofHvrq5ACEwYBhgL/s400/IMG_7800.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">For today's card, I decided to play with the <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/newtons-sweetheart/" target="_blank">Newton’s Sweetheart</a></b> stamps set again. I couldn’t resist playing with these lovey dovey kitty stamps on this set. This time, I picked the stamp where Newton and his sweet girlfriend sharing a bottle of drink. I stamped and colored them using distress inks. For a change, I made them to drink Orange Milkshake 😋. Then, I cut them out using the coordinating die from <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/newtons-sweetheart-die-set/" target="_blank">Newton’s Sweetheart Die Set</a></b>. <br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5RuxhSRtl7zXxkguwZTg2FDXIzswTQo2LSpAxsUGJ4lvjPWJt7Un4Kf-QhjJHs0RzPyh_dLYiNL1Fxskk9QooQvFRkq9tFYHHo7bMeulTuHpNsNz68rvgopYsIbPNekX-Q45x-v6Lb4fi/s1600/IMG_7801.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="635" data-original-width="639" height="396" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5RuxhSRtl7zXxkguwZTg2FDXIzswTQo2LSpAxsUGJ4lvjPWJt7Un4Kf-QhjJHs0RzPyh_dLYiNL1Fxskk9QooQvFRkq9tFYHHo7bMeulTuHpNsNz68rvgopYsIbPNekX-Q45x-v6Lb4fi/s400/IMG_7801.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">To have a monochromatic look , I used Kraft as the main color for my card. I used the Darice brick wall embossing folder to emboss the Kraft card and inked the edges using distress inks. I just love how the bricked texture turned out! Then, I used the stitched rectangle die from <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/frames-flags-die-set/" target="_blank">Frames & Flag Die Set</a></b> to create the focal panel. I did a background stamping on it using the little paw stamp from <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/newtons-sweetheart/" target="_blank">Newton’s Sweetheart</a></b> stamps set. <br />
</span></div><br />
<div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Next, I used two sentiment banners from <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/frames-flags-die-set/" target="_blank">Frames & Flag Die Set</a></b> to create a panel for the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment from <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/newtons-sweetheart/" target="_blank">Newton’s Sweetheart </a></b>stamps set on the stitched banner and adhered it on top the plain one and embellished with two gold brad. Finished off the card by adding a little red heart on top of the kitties. I hope you’ve enjoyed my take on this card! <br />
</span></div><br />
<div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope to see you all again. Have a great day! Hugs! :)</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Hi There! I'm so happy that I managed to make a card for the final round of <b><a href="http://www.cardchallenges.com/2018/02/mft-2018-creative-olympics-event-4.html" target="_blank">MFT Creative Olympics - Speed Cardmaking</a></b>. YAY! It was a great challenge and it's totally FUN! I made this simple best wishes card in 17 minutes and 5 seconds. Here is my take!</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJBlmJW1YEK_pYys-oQypicmyBGKUzW7-9Zfb5FpUu48D-wGojm0wZuvqKqDZMF5TmJx4BlD43QOKhYMYmphcnqLp0gTsOESzb6ZNGtHhnfdut4c3Jm3_xKnRrMCCVN-82Zms7H6Ka1NXd/s1600/IMG_7603.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJBlmJW1YEK_pYys-oQypicmyBGKUzW7-9Zfb5FpUu48D-wGojm0wZuvqKqDZMF5TmJx4BlD43QOKhYMYmphcnqLp0gTsOESzb6ZNGtHhnfdut4c3Jm3_xKnRrMCCVN-82Zms7H6Ka1NXd/s400/IMG_7603.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">For this card, I picked a polka dots pattern Paper from Recollection Paper Pad and cut it out using the MFT Wonky Stitched Border. Then I inked the edges using distress ink. Next I die cut two different sizes of circles using MFT Stitched Circle die set. For the sentiment, I used the 'best wishes' die from MFT Cause of Celebration die set. I die cut the sentiment twice and adhered them together for added dimension. I finished off the card by adhering the sentiment on the stitched circle frame. That's all! </span></div>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Hi There! I'm back with a card for the third event of <b><a href="https://www.mftstamps.com/blog/olympics-2018-3/" target="_blank">MFT Creative Olympics - Crafty Biathlon</a></b>. I decided to make a shaker card with masking technique. For this card, I used the fun yeti images from BB Beast Friends stamp set. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg24UytbKXCLfU8kSi8FC8Cjf9WVDR5LEFmVYcBFxIaGccA9bC84KMl8xRzLJ0960m9dOGgZ_umMfWECKdIk2JtYP53fnYriko7vmBKnGx2k7HakO1JeDr00zbeCyV3vLudm1zNfG6LMRzt/s1600/IMG_7592.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="627" data-original-width="640" height="391" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg24UytbKXCLfU8kSi8FC8Cjf9WVDR5LEFmVYcBFxIaGccA9bC84KMl8xRzLJ0960m9dOGgZ_umMfWECKdIk2JtYP53fnYriko7vmBKnGx2k7HakO1JeDr00zbeCyV3vLudm1zNfG6LMRzt/s400/IMG_7592.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">First, I stamped the yeti on the right and masked it. Next, I stamped on the other yeti and colored them using Copic Markers. Then, I did a partial die cut using the MFT Stitched Circle die to make a little window for them to stand. I placed the coordinating die of the yeti and run through my die cutting machine to just cut the top part of it. Since, I did a little masking this part was little tricky for me. Therefore I had to die cut them one at a time. I'm so happy that it did work!</span></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Then I used the MFT Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frame die to cut the front card and inked up the frame with distress ink. To make a shaker card, I adhered a piece of vellum on the back of the front card. Next, I inked the center part of my base card with distress inks. I placed some sparkling sequins on the inked area and adhered the front card on to the base card with foam adhesive. As I used vellum for the window it kinda mutes the background color. But I love the minty iridescent look through vellum. Then I fussy cut a piece of white card to make a snow base for the yetis and inked the edges with distress ink. Finished off the card by stamping the sentiment from BB Beast Friend stamps set. That's all. I hope you like it. </span></div>
<br />

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I’m back again with my third card for Newton’s Nook. For this card, I used the <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/newtons-naptime/" target="_blank">Newston’s Naptime</a></b> stamps set. This set is definitely an eye catcher! I’ve fell in love seeing him napping on top of the cozy blankets. He is too cute! <br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMwPEth1IwDuL7kc6CWQVketuvWMIcxghtBXvThRrZ1KWHjcY8QZK72OsqXCvGIFPkL7gXbtkI1JVnxbaQn_gBj2xXIc4Dv-Rfh8AE7jXTulDYLx65gApwKScchGsbHqIcu6NeSOHBVE6p/s1600/IMG_7217.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="636" data-original-width="640" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMwPEth1IwDuL7kc6CWQVketuvWMIcxghtBXvThRrZ1KWHjcY8QZK72OsqXCvGIFPkL7gXbtkI1JVnxbaQn_gBj2xXIc4Dv-Rfh8AE7jXTulDYLx65gApwKScchGsbHqIcu6NeSOHBVE6p/s400/IMG_7217.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I wanted him to be the focal point of my card. So I decided to use bright colors on the layers of blanket to make it pop. I stamped and colored the image using distress ink and die cut the image using the coordinating <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/newtons-naptime-die-set/" target="_blank">Newton’s Naptime die set</a></b>. Next, I moved on to making the background. I wanted a contrast background for this card. So, I cut a stitched rectangle panel using <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/frames-flags-die-set/" target="_blank">Frames & Flags die set</a></b> and inked it with Mowed Lawn and Wild Honey distress inks. Then, for the cloud I used the <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/sky-borders-die-set/" target="_blank">Stitched Cloud Border die set</a></b> and inked it up with Salty Ocean distress ink. I stamped the sentiment on the cloud panel and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. <br />
</span></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4LXyViqk6vk/WoeR1Dv57wI/AAAAAAAALTY/zyc4o6480iAq5WOPrPZp52xAEPZT-Y_mQCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_7216.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="606" data-original-width="640" height="378" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4LXyViqk6vk/WoeR1Dv57wI/AAAAAAAALTY/zyc4o6480iAq5WOPrPZp52xAEPZT-Y_mQCLcBGAs/s400/IMG_7216.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I tried the inlaid die cutting technique to make a window with a little background scene for this card and it turned out great. I made the window frame using scalloped edge and stitched rectangle dies from <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/frames-flags-die-set/" target="_blank">Frames & Flags die set</a></b>. Basically the negative part of this will be the frame. I made four frames and glued all of the layers together for added dimension. <br />
</span></div><br />
<div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I inlaid the background panel to the center of the frame which I made earlier. Since the frame was made of four layers, it give a little depth to background and then I inserted a piece of acetate sheet on top of the frame layers to give the window a glassy look. Unfortunately, I couldn't capture it on my picture. I finished off the card by adhering Newton on the foreground. That’s all for today. I hope you enjoyed my card today. <br />
</span></div><br />
<div><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Thanks for stopping by and see you all again next Monday with my final card for Newton’s Nook. Have a great week! Hugs! :)</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Hi There! I'm sharing a cute birthday card which I made for the <b><a href="http://www.cardchallenges.com/2018/02/mft-2018-creative-olympics-event-2.html" target="_blank">MFT Creative Olympics</a></b> second event. It's a freestyle round and it has to be in winter theme. I used this week's sketch from <b><a href="http://www.cardchallenges.com/2018/02/wednesday-sketch-challenge-sketch-372.html" target="_blank">MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #372</a></b> for inspiration. Here is my take! <br />
</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGp0VdiracA_kleDO7rZMsxAHljchxF1tgZ2GzWC1GeOiCQAcDWQ4utsOzmf1Puns8QOHA6mwOMU_OkVKqmFMJRm5KoVdQaeS8XcGjlcs2shZsnz76b7sqYnxVt-jsn8xdZMVCyK_uRq4u/s1600/IMG_7557.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="631" data-original-width="637" height="395" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGp0VdiracA_kleDO7rZMsxAHljchxF1tgZ2GzWC1GeOiCQAcDWQ4utsOzmf1Puns8QOHA6mwOMU_OkVKqmFMJRm5KoVdQaeS8XcGjlcs2shZsnz76b7sqYnxVt-jsn8xdZMVCyK_uRq4u/s400/IMG_7557.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I stamped and colored the cute bear and little gift box from BB Bitty Bears stamps set using distress inks. I die cut the images using their coordinating dies. Then, I stamped on the tree from MFT Modern Trees stamp set on a piece of card and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Next, I inked the background using distress inks. I used the blending tool to blend the three soft colors and create a wintery sky ombre. <br />
</span></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Once done with the background, I used the MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle to cut out the card. I also inked the same colors on the base card. Then, I adhered the bear next to the tree and stamped the sentiment directly on the card. I used the 'A little something for you' sentiment from the BB Bitty Bears stamp set. I love this sentiment as it goes well with the bear holding a small gift on his hands. To finished off the card, I used the glitter pen to make the ground filled with little snow. That's all! I hope you enjoyed my card.<br />

<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Hi There! Time to have more fun with MFT goodies! I’m so happy and excited to take part in the<b> <a href="https://www.mftstamps.com/blog/olympics-2018-1/" target="_blank">MFT Creative Olympics Challenge - Stamping Slalom</a></b>. It’s a special challenge where you have to make a card with three or more of MFT stamps set. That's sooo fun!! I made this card as soon as I saw the post on their blog. But it took some time for me to update here due to few errands. Busy mommy! :P Here is my take on the first event!<br />
</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFIL7vS_GnRhnQuVMoB9HF5aZUbfloEywy_c4wxza2NRNHXxpq5o88CfWbuQUhYWXPB1J7mlwOVqo7YA_EbcGC-lPSmdljHH7pnOwWL4CL9dMikxGgliCWtoLWkY8A4nBTjx0vBjS1uxz5/s1600/IMG_7384.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="626" data-original-width="640" height="391" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFIL7vS_GnRhnQuVMoB9HF5aZUbfloEywy_c4wxza2NRNHXxpq5o88CfWbuQUhYWXPB1J7mlwOVqo7YA_EbcGC-lPSmdljHH7pnOwWL4CL9dMikxGgliCWtoLWkY8A4nBTjx0vBjS1uxz5/s400/IMG_7384.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">First, I stamped the little teddy from Playful Pups stamps set and masked it. Then, I stamped the girl with gift box from Pure Innocence Happy Birthday to You stamps set followed by the balloons from BB Happy Hippo stamps set. I heat embossed all the images with clear embossing powder and colored them with distress inks. I did little paper piecing on the gift box ribbon using pattern paper from MFT True Blue Houndstooth paper pack.<br />
</span></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">For the sentiment, I create an ombre background on a white card stock using Festive Berries and Spun Sugar distress ink. Then, I placed the birthday die cut from the MFT Cause for Celebration dies set and cut out the word. To give a little dimension, I made another piece of it using pink card stock and layered the ombre word on top of it. Then, I picked the Happy sentiment from BB Bitty Bears stamp set and stamped it on top of the card. I adhered the birthday sentiment and finished off the card by adding some dots on the balloons using gold and silver gel pen.<br />
</span></div>
<br />

<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Hello all! It’s already Valentines week! :) I'm back again with another Valentine's Day card. I made this cute love scene card using <a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/newton-dreams-of-paris/" target="_blank"><b>Newton Dreams of Paris</b></a> stamp set. This is such a fun set with lots of adorable and sweet images.<br />
</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xtuIf2GMGdU/Wn13lG1E2EI/AAAAAAAALSE/YXxC-ONc2kUblxae_th0To7zmsIXjqTfgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_7214.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="639" data-original-width="639" height="400" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xtuIf2GMGdU/Wn13lG1E2EI/AAAAAAAALSE/YXxC-ONc2kUblxae_th0To7zmsIXjqTfgCLcBGAs/s400/IMG_7214.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;"> For this card, I stamped and colored the eiffel tower, hot air balloons, the cute Newton and his girlfriend using distress inks. To add little shine, I heat embossed the tower using clear embossing powder. Then, I cut the images using their coordinating dies from <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/newton-dreams-of-paris-die-set/" target="_blank">Newton Dreams of Paris Die Set</a></b>. Next, I used the stitched rectangle die from <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/frames-flags-die-set/" target="_blank">Frames & Flag Die Set</a></b> to create a focal panel and picked a white card stock as the base card. To create the sky background, I cut a piece of white card stock using <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/sky-borders-die-set/" target="_blank">Sky Borders Die Set</a></b> and inked the background with Salty Ocean and Mustard Seed distress inks. I did the same for the base card but used only Salty Ocean distress ink.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2kzhFU_PBTHw1rhLx7_1-JsM7kuXFKdiKL2ejHaQvdjrtphK6EEDlP04_tXK6-ryPCGF9WAyecLIzgxIqs4j_JGJPfobs_HvwyExTVUmVIjcqdBue7cTxx7CJGENbuNYxM6UUsOZl1Q4C/s1600/IMG_7215.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="633" data-original-width="638" height="396" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2kzhFU_PBTHw1rhLx7_1-JsM7kuXFKdiKL2ejHaQvdjrtphK6EEDlP04_tXK6-ryPCGF9WAyecLIzgxIqs4j_JGJPfobs_HvwyExTVUmVIjcqdBue7cTxx7CJGENbuNYxM6UUsOZl1Q4C/s400/IMG_7215.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;"> Then, I framed the scene by adhering the images. It was the fun part of making this card. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the sky panel and added tiny heart above Newton. Finally, I mounted the entire focal panel onto a the base card using foam tape. I had so much fun coloring the images on this set and love how sweet this card turned out</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;"><br />
</span> <span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;"> Thanks again for stopping by! Happy Valentine's Day!! Love you all to the max! Have a great week with your loved ones. See you all on next Monday with another card. Hugs! :)</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Hi There! Today, I'm sharing a little action card featuring a lovely bear from MFT BB Bitty Bears stamp set. I made this card inspired by this week’s <b><a href="http://www.cardchallenges.com/2018/02/mft-color-challenge-87.html" target="_blank">MFT Color Challenge #87</a></b>. It's one of my favorite color combo. Here is my take! </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3JdwFIjBe_8/WoEMwu_Q3zI/AAAAAAAALSw/CODoWLT6QoUQse4dmz5yDEytM15EcWbVwCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_7314.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="633" data-original-width="640" height="395" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3JdwFIjBe_8/WoEMwu_Q3zI/AAAAAAAALSw/CODoWLT6QoUQse4dmz5yDEytM15EcWbVwCLcBGAs/s400/IMG_7314.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">First, I stamped and colored the bear with distress ink and cut it out using the coordinating die. To create the frame, I used the MFT Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frame die and inked it with Picked Raspberry distress ink. For the background, I gently inked the Staggered Heart stencil with Spun Sugar distress ink. Next, I create an ombre on a white card using Hickory Smoke and Black Soot distress ink. Then, I placed the letter dies from MFT Little Letter die set and cut out the letters. I die cut the letters again on a black card stock and adhered the ombre letters onto these black letters to give a little shadow and dimension.</span></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Next, I stamped on the sentiment from the same stamp set and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I finished off the card by adding a little action wobbler on the back of the bear and placed it along with the letters to form the word 'LOVE'. That's all for this card! Hope you like it. </span></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">I'm also playing along...<br />

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Hello there! I’m super excited to be the<b> <a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/" target="_blank">Newton’s Nook</a></b> Guest Designer for the month of February. Huge thanks to the Newton’s Nook family for inviting me. As we are in the month of love, here I’m sharing a lovely Valentine’s Day card featuring Newton and his sweetheart from the newly released <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/newtons-sweetheart/" target="_blank">Newton’s Sweetheart</a></b> stamp set. I love the images and cute sentiments on this stamp set. They are super adorable and perfect for the theme of love. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhi_ZYpYnea01OMDk8yHbilBDNSCOSpcoxw0XOYXkVxhZ0l_OloufwBD8ouijrxs-Oei3S7eKcCUF1a3WtoAbDq8a2EMwtSQMVXeqBpwwwUAKjysl8wKrpWZzkhrXxwFEX6UActueyoQ7Xe/s1600/IMG_6856.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="608" data-original-width="640" height="380" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhi_ZYpYnea01OMDk8yHbilBDNSCOSpcoxw0XOYXkVxhZ0l_OloufwBD8ouijrxs-Oei3S7eKcCUF1a3WtoAbDq8a2EMwtSQMVXeqBpwwwUAKjysl8wKrpWZzkhrXxwFEX6UActueyoQ7Xe/s400/IMG_6856.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">For this card, I made the background using the bokeh technique (photography term) with distress inks. I used three colors, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio and Shaded Lilac. First, I blended the distress inks using the blending tool and colored the card completely. Then, I used the <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/tumbling-hearts-stencil/" target="_blank">Tumbling Hearts Stencil</a> </b>and white pigment ink to create the bokeh effects.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-o3eLdE10B5I/WnQoRsttVtI/AAAAAAAALRk/T6PoymRw_OIoc5Ewv69sHCF7wMzYHNO9gCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_6855.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="599" data-original-width="640" height="373" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-o3eLdE10B5I/WnQoRsttVtI/AAAAAAAALRk/T6PoymRw_OIoc5Ewv69sHCF7wMzYHNO9gCEwYBhgL/s400/IMG_6855.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">I gently dabbed the white ink on to the different sizes of hearts using sponge dauber. I made some lighter and blurry. I overlapped some of them and make it little darker. I did it randomly all over the card and let it dry. This is such a fun technique and I love how it turned out. Then, I cut it out with a scalloped edge die from the <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/frames-flags-die-set/" target="_blank">Frames & Flags Die Set</a></b>.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHr4QsiQVo-LOCrurwsqWBIn00MXWzueLsv9z1Ehx5ca8IBpFD0tzMZlgcGli62it_i70a7eN-D2bim2RzKYjWcjEGzGPb4nRWio0eTlyGsMp8RV-Ep1dK1p0LpVHIIi1m-CbV5JU_z29v/s1600/IMG_6857.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="636" data-original-width="632" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHr4QsiQVo-LOCrurwsqWBIn00MXWzueLsv9z1Ehx5ca8IBpFD0tzMZlgcGli62it_i70a7eN-D2bim2RzKYjWcjEGzGPb4nRWio0eTlyGsMp8RV-Ep1dK1p0LpVHIIi1m-CbV5JU_z29v/s400/IMG_6857.jpg" width="396" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Once I’m done with the background card, I stamped the image of kitties on a TimHoltz distress watercolor card stock and colored them using distress inks. I cut them out using the coordinating <b><a href="http://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/newtons-sweetheart-die-set/" target="_blank">Newton’s Sweetheart Die Set</a></b>. I adhered the image onto the background card and stamped on the sentiment from the Newton’s Sweetheart Stamp Set. Next, I adhered the final background card to the base card and finished off by adding some teal dimensional dots. That's all for today :) I hope you like this card!</span></div>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week ahead and I’ll catch you on next Monday with another card.</span></div>

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Hi! Hope you all are doing great. Today, I'm sharing this cute birthday card featuring cutie hippo from My Favorite Things - BB Happy Hippos. It's one of my most favorite birthday themed stamps set. I used this week's <b><a href="http://www.cardchallenges.com/2018/01/mft-color-challenge-86.html" target="_blank">MFT Color Challenge #86</a> </b>and <b><a href="http://www.cardchallenges.com/2018/01/wednesday-sketch-challenge-sketch-369.html" target="_blank">MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #369</a></b> to make this card.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqeQUBHD5fQwjMK27usCupk1neCIly-pPY-vEmcVgJb7mVYy-cepFQIRpYRA0YKQ1o_j0HIRhIvWgA_8GbKIUSysFe_q7r1a-6VKt7h3zCH0hYLluHDqXFu3RO-aBHBaU8kjz74Dlkp7Hy/s1600/IMG_6770.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqeQUBHD5fQwjMK27usCupk1neCIly-pPY-vEmcVgJb7mVYy-cepFQIRpYRA0YKQ1o_j0HIRhIvWgA_8GbKIUSysFe_q7r1a-6VKt7h3zCH0hYLluHDqXFu3RO-aBHBaU8kjz74Dlkp7Hy/s400/IMG_6770.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I stamped the images and colored them using distress inks. Then, I cut them out with the coordinating dies. I love the three little tweety birds from this set. They are super adorable!</span></div>
<br />
<div>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Next, I used the MFT Small Brick Wall stencil to create a bricked background. I inked up the stencil using two different shades of green distress inks. Then, I used MFT Stitched Circle die to cut out two circle frame window and inked the edges with distress ink. I adhered a piece of vellum in between the two circle frames to give a subtle brick background. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgz4VXNcYIAkuBoT0L9KgxIFHTp7clq7UMi6kwKf9JGqh-meoZR8iQ_dSY0f4ej1pjoOsXddbYpdFh81FjjQCpXdVnAUoUpbgwO5VPlAxc_LqCpXmWxq22BNjHCJW55Ebr4k0y-TARhzUU8/s1600/IMG_6771.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgz4VXNcYIAkuBoT0L9KgxIFHTp7clq7UMi6kwKf9JGqh-meoZR8iQ_dSY0f4ej1pjoOsXddbYpdFh81FjjQCpXdVnAUoUpbgwO5VPlAxc_LqCpXmWxq22BNjHCJW55Ebr4k0y-TARhzUU8/s400/IMG_6771.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I made the 'celebrate' sentiment using Little Lowercase Letters dies. I adhered the letters on a piece of vellum using the glue pen. I finished off the card by adhering all the elements in place. I'm also entering this on the <b><a href="http://www.cardchallenges.com/2018/01/the-birthday-project-celebrate-good.html" target="_blank">MFT monthly Birthday Project - Celebrate Good Times</a></b><br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Hello! I'm sharing this simple one layer birthday card featuring little birdie from Gerda Steiner Design - Hoppines stamp set. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8i9YBhUct9NxaVOAB5-U_TeL5N9KOb4T0-y60Lj3R1l39kOMiJLC4HQeisu0jefmdxmSrhX4EoE416SqVMJhRovAhaX1kRBPxUV9O1nuw1sd7CiuRg-erUfpvvqlmlZ58e7rB6CweAG0V/s1600/birdiebirthday.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="636" data-original-width="635" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8i9YBhUct9NxaVOAB5-U_TeL5N9KOb4T0-y60Lj3R1l39kOMiJLC4HQeisu0jefmdxmSrhX4EoE416SqVMJhRovAhaX1kRBPxUV9O1nuw1sd7CiuRg-erUfpvvqlmlZ58e7rB6CweAG0V/s400/birdiebirthday.jpg" width="398" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I love the wood fence image from this set. I stamped it several time and on top of the fence I stamped the birdie. I colored them using distress inks. Next, I masked the images and inked the background using distress inks. Finished off the card with the sentiment. </span></div>
<br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Hi There! I'm sharing a quick card today. I love kraft color and it's been a while since I used kraft as a base for my cards. I love using kraft as it goes well with any primary colors. Here is one for you...</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiukj8_Ot5eK95HM0eGiYinr55trWukTMxdAcl6SSrNGttdOofBjzKUXtzC7gr4Gjy2rgKHzNvidXBcnrxOMOImR-Ck31YehsdehwqFM-MefCoNFmo8PujvMwVmN9h4JZH8kPeVxfzei-nh/s1600/IMG_6533.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="636" data-original-width="640" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiukj8_Ot5eK95HM0eGiYinr55trWukTMxdAcl6SSrNGttdOofBjzKUXtzC7gr4Gjy2rgKHzNvidXBcnrxOMOImR-Ck31YehsdehwqFM-MefCoNFmo8PujvMwVmN9h4JZH8kPeVxfzei-nh/s400/IMG_6533.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I did a background stamping using the little school themed images from Paper Smooches - Smarty Pants stamp set. They are just adorable. I dabbed the edges with distress ink and set as the base card. Next, I stamped on the professor image from the same stamp set and colored him using Copic markers. I have a very limited count of copic markers on hand :| . I think I did a better job! :P </span></div>
<br />
<div>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Then, I had this pre-cut speech bubble in my stash so I used it to stamp on the sentiment. Finished off by adding some glossy accent on his huge bubbly eyes. A quick and simple card! I hope you all like it! </span></div>
<br />
<div>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I'm playing along...</span></div>

Hope you all had a great holiday. Wish you all a happy new year! :) We are blessed with a baby boy recently so I took a little break from crafting and blogging. Here I'm back with my first card for this year! </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjksVUtqJumEYS-G4ePFL8jLJ6B79ZF9w3XDakmQF5Q1mHaIQVPP8HbBwbrmBAx4Bfp3eYT1HDa3mkHgj4SFlTnQHIWGo69HxlsmT76WABFvmiWdx8NLNzoPdL7Fdv7uIU1V5TIO9xw5bBR/s1600/BBbear.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="635" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjksVUtqJumEYS-G4ePFL8jLJ6B79ZF9w3XDakmQF5Q1mHaIQVPP8HbBwbrmBAx4Bfp3eYT1HDa3mkHgj4SFlTnQHIWGo69HxlsmT76WABFvmiWdx8NLNzoPdL7Fdv7uIU1V5TIO9xw5bBR/s400/BBbear.jpg" width="396" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I colored the two little bears from MFT BB Bitty Bears using distress inks and cut them using coordinating die. I used the sentiment from the same stamps set. Then, I create a frame using the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frame die from MFT. It's one of my most favorite die frame which was in my wish list for a l-o-n-g time. I just had it recently and here I'm using it for this card :)</span></div><br />
<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Next, I create a rainy background by blending distress inks and splashed few drops of water. I trimmed out a yellow color side panel and used the Staggered Hearts stencil to create a background full of hearts. I picked a similar color of distress ink to fill in the the little hearts. I love how it turned out. Looking so lovely :)</span></div><br />
<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">That's all for this card. Hope you like it! :)</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;"><br />
I used the color palette from the MFT color challenge and the sketch from MFT Wednesday Sketch challenge. But, now it's too late to post this card on the sketch challenge as it was over. Anyway, I'm still in the color challenge :)</span></div><br />
<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Entering my card in...</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;"><b><a href="http://www.cardchallenges.com/2018/01/mft-color-challenge-85.html" target="_blank">MFT Color Challenge #85</a></b></span><br />

I'm back with another card after a short break. I created a simple card featuring stamps and dies from My Favorite Things. I enjoyed making this </span><span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">card inspired by this weeks MFT Color Challenge. Here is my take!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuAhCywGGw92CjWgS8XtokBUKYSDuy1is9D7f3IgzMpk_oyCx2UXlXQ6ZB0tnGnKCV-otYj-Ueq0l4gFVKZFvYEjTmD7EgoRyKuviu00xY1pnmTiUPfHxtMfrBl2_8mH1s0jt39KgnP2Wz/s1600/IMG_4873.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuAhCywGGw92CjWgS8XtokBUKYSDuy1is9D7f3IgzMpk_oyCx2UXlXQ6ZB0tnGnKCV-otYj-Ueq0l4gFVKZFvYEjTmD7EgoRyKuviu00xY1pnmTiUPfHxtMfrBl2_8mH1s0jt39KgnP2Wz/s400/IMG_4873.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">For this card, I create a sunset background using the distress inks. This is the first time I'm using four different colors. I love this technique a lot, but hardly tried on my cards. I'm still practicing and learning on ink blending. But, I'm really happy on how it turned out for this card. </span></div><br />
<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Next, I die cut the base card with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle frame from MFT and cut out a circle in the center using the Stitched Circle from MFT as well.</span></div><br />
<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I used the Modern Trees stamps from MFT to set a scene on the bottom of the card. These tree stamps are so cool and its perfect for all season.</span></div><br />
<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment from the BB Beast Friends stamps set and I die cut the word believe using Die-namics Little Letters from MFT. I felt it would be the perfect sentiment for this card. Hope you all like it. </span></div><br />
<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">I'm playing along...</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;"><b><a href="http://www.cardchallenges.com/2017/11/mft-color-challenge-81.html" target="_blank">MFT Color Challenge #81</a></b></span><br />

<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 13px;">Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy crafting! :)</span> </div><br />
