Card in a Box - We Make a Great Pair!

Hi all! I'm logging in after a long time. Let me share my recent work with you all.

This box card is one of my favorite. It was made for a lovely couple who love beach. This box can be fold and mailed easily just like any other standard greeting card. Isn't interesting? I really enjoyed decorating this box! I adhered some stamped images from Inkadinkado - Coastal Beach.

Notepad Holders - Teacher Appreciation Day

Hi friends, I took a little time off from my craft work to be with my family. Here I’m back! Teacher appreciation week is around the corner and I’ve made these cute little post-it note holder for my son’s daycare teachers.

I used the school theme patterned papers from Recollections. I inked all sides with coordinating color to give a distress look. I embellished the top with a circle scallop punch attached with a Thank You note. I adhered the embellishment using foam adhesive to give a little dimension to the holder. Then, I stamped the teacher’s name on a piece of notebook paper using Hero Arts alphabet stamp set. Finished off with contrasting color paper clips to hold the teachers name and black stitch lines around the front card.

Hope you have enjoyed and get inspired to create something special for the dedicated teachers who plays an integral role in educating and nurturing our kids.

I'm entering my work in this week's Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes challenge.

Floral Birthday Card

Hi friends! It feels good to get back into card making. I've been craving to do a card and I finally had a chance to make one last night for my friend’s daughter. She is turning five next week and she loves anything that is in pink or purple color. To make this card, I was inspired by the sketch at Seize the Sketch this week. So here is my take...

I made this card using papers from the American Crafts double sided paper pad. It’s a 6x6 pad with 24 bright and colorful papers which I think is perfect for birthday cards. The vibrant flower is from Recollections - Floral stickers and the leaves are hand stamped using Recollections mini rubber stamp set. I heat embossed the leaves and colored them. I love the little birdie from Hero Arts Fanciful Swirls clear stamps set. I colored it with Colorbox inks using aqua brush pen.

V Day Treat Box

Hi friends! Since we’re still in the month of February, I’m sharing a super easy chocolate box that I made for Valentine’s day. This box measures 1 1/8" x 3 1/2" and 1" tall . It perfectly fits six Dove chocolates. The adorable patterned paper I used for this box is from Recollections. I just love the pink and red hearts!

Easel Beach Card

Hi friends! Life is so busy being a full-time stay-at-home mom. My 2 year old has just started going to play school and other responsibilities ate up my time. I was in a very comfortable routine and couldn’t devote time to update my blog. Anyways, I’m back with another beach card requested by a customer.

This is an easel card and I've added a flip flop, quilled bucket and starfish as an embellishment. I’ve created my own waves stencil using sticky notes and inked up with distress ink. I'm entering this card in the following challenges: Make it Monday - Anything Goes and Simon Says Stamp - Anything goes with Pearls.
