Back to School!

Hi!! I made this card for this week's back-to-school challenge at Simon Says Stamp. I used the sketch from Friday Mashup challenge. It just happens to be that both the challenges I'm participating in are based on school theme :)

I drew the 'pencils' using Uni Ball black pen to give a stamped image look. Then, I colored them using ColorBox inks with my Pentel Aquash brush. I must say that this brush is just an outstanding tool! It's so helpful for beginners like me to try some simple and basic coloring while making card. I definitely need a lot of practice but it's fun so far! Overall, it was very interesting to work on this card.

Hi there! I'm enjoying taking part in challenges that helps me to stay creative and productive :) I feel so happy to play along with Friday Mashup challenge this week. This is my first time participating in the mashup challenge. The challenge is to create a project using the sketch, or using the "brick wall" technique or mash it up and create a project using the sketch and brick wall technique. The brick wall technique is something that I've never tried before. So, I decided to give it a try.
